Jake is an Account Executive in the Public Affairs, PR and Advisory team at Cratus. He is responsible for the day-to-day management of accounts and works across a number of our public affairs clients to help them form strong and collaborative relationships with the public sector.
At Cratus, Jake’s role involves political monitoring and research for a number of clients to best identify issues which do and could affect their interests. He helps to devise and implement strategies around this to enable clients to respond to events, communicate effectively with stakeholders and successfully enhance their public profiles and relationships with local authorities. Jake is currently part of the team that provides crucial public affairs assistance to Kier Highways in the management of their local authority contracts. He is also supporting the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in their efforts to win funding for a transformative infrastructure project in East London.
Jake joined Cratus in November 2019 after completing an MA in political communications at UCL, having also graduated from the University of Birmingham with a First Class Honours BA in politics and economics. He previously worked as a fundraiser for two years where his role involved raising money for the University of Birmingham’s medical research and scholarship programmes. Jake also has previous experience in political campaigning in addition to interning for an MP and the PR and communications company, Seven Hills.
